HISTORIC
LAS VEGAS NEIGHBORHOODS

Las Vegas has many historic neighborhoods, only some of them are officially designed as historic.  To receive recognition by the city, historic neighborhoods must be more than 40 years old, represent a strong connection to the city as it once was, and have unique architecture.  Below are some of the most notable historic neighborhoods in Las Vegas.

PARADISE PALMS

Paradise Palms is a Mid-century modern housing community in the Las Vegas Valley.  It opened in 1960, and is generally regarded as the first master-planned community in Las Vegas.  It is located within the unincorporated town of Paradise and Winchester.  Located along the Las Vegas National Golf Course.  The community spans 720 acres, and has been home to numerous entertainers, celebrities and notable members of the Las Vegas business and gaming community.  Part of the Martin Scorsese film “Casino” was filmed on a home bordering the golf course in the community.  Located approximately 5 miles East of the Las Vegas Strip.  Paradise Palms is the perfect Las Vegas community to find your historic dream home.

LAS VEGAS COUNTRY CLUB

Las Vegas Country Club is the first and original private, guard gated golf course community in Las Vegas built in the 1960’s.  The historic Las Vegas Country Club is located only minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.  The community features custom and semi-custom homes, townhomes, and the high rise Regency Towers.
