ABOUT CALICO RIDGE

Calico Ridge is a small, secluded residential community located in Henderson, NV. This community is near Lake Las Vegas and about 20 minutes from Lake Mead. The Calico Ridge community has some of the best views of the Las Vegas Valley. The community has low HOA dues and many of the homes are custom or semi-custom homes. The majority of the Calico Ridge community is non-gated and offers low HOA dues. Typical single-family homes range between 1,600 sf and 4,000 sf. The lots are larger and offer more privacy between adjoining neighbors. Typical lots at Calico Ridge range between 8,000 sf and 20,000 sf. There is one gated enclave named Two Crows. HENDERSON BIRD VIEWING PRESERVE

The Calico Ridge community is located near the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve. The Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve is approximately 140 acres and offers a variety of programming and events for the public to enjoy. It is home to thousands of migratory waterfowl as well as numerous resident desert birds. There are nine ponds available for birding, surrounded by five miles of trail that are both paved and soft surfaces. The paved path is approximately 3/4 of a mile long and is accessible by wheelchair. The soft surfaces are mostly level and allow for easy walking. When you visit, expect to do a lot of walking and allow yourself adequate time to visit the area

LAKE LAS VEGAS

At Lake Las Vegas there are many activities for local residents and visitors. The community has a man-made lake surrounded by condos, hotels, housing, shops, and a golf course. Be sure to stop by the Village at Lake Las Vegas where you can enjoy a great meal at many of the local restaurants or shop at many of the locally-owned boutiques. DOWNTOWN HENDERSON WATER STREET DISTRICT

The Water Street District is a redeveloped portion of downtown Henderson, Nevada. It includes stores, restaurants, an art gallery, a casino, and office and residential space. It also hosts numerous annual events, including festivals, parades, car shows, and a farmers’ market. The area is also home to Henderson’s city hall and justice facility. The Water District is home to some of Henderson’s best restaurants and bars such as Biscuits and Bourbon, Lovelady Brewing Company, Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina, Mojave Brewing Company, Chinitas Tapas & Sushi, MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub and many more!
